Note: The Diaries for the months January through June 1918 have not survived. On 1st January 1918 T./Capt. (A./Maj.) William North Coates, R.G.A. was awarded the Military Cross. By July 1918 he was commanding 82 Brigade R.G.A. and T. /Capt. William George Moore had taken over command of 20 H.B. Captain Moore would also go on to win the Military Cross.
